I am, and always will be a student of food, beverages and life!
My biggest passion is brewing. During my second year as a food science student I wrote an essay; Brewing Honeywine: the most sustainable way. Based on this essay I represented Denmark in a contest called Ecotrophelia – the European competition for the creation of eco-innovative food products, at the international food exhibition, ANUGA, in Cologne, Germany, October 2011.
I have always had an inner entrepreneur, and as only 13 I started my first company with help from my dad. Within a few months of learning HTML and PHP I had my first customer, a big Danish company, worried about my age, but happy with the result. This gave me a lot of other contracts and I worked alongside school as a web page programmer for the next many years.
Right after high school I started studying Computer Science at Copenhagen University. After one year I quit to spend all of my time on my newly started company, Organic Chemicals, specialized in importing large quantities of special ordered chemicals and selling to businesses in most of Europe. This opened my eyes to the possibilities in chemistry and for the next few years I did homestudy in chemistry and physics, until I decided to start school again, and chose food, beverage and life at Copenhagen University.
Later i switched to Food Engineering at DTU where I specialized in beverages.
